How to Disable GPS on an iPhone

During playing videos, listening to music, or viewing photos on your iPhone and have the GPS on can quickly drain the battery. Fortunately, you can disable the GPS function to remedy this problem.


    1- Press the "Start" button on your iPhone. If it is locked, Unlock it by sliding the arrow icon.
    2- Locate the "Settings" icon on your home screen. If reacomodaste your home screens, you can be in one of them. Slide your finger along the screen to access them.
    3- Tap the "Settings" icon to access the setup menu.
    4- Scroll down and find the "General" option. Touch it to access the settings.
    5- Locate the entry titled "Location Services".
    6- Turn off the GPS function by touching the blue button "Power". This will slide to "Off" to indicate that the feature was disabled.
